So, basically Sprint customers have been getting notices on their bills about the discontinuing of discounts on the third and fourth lines of service. For example, UPS & military members will notice their bills going up the following month because of this. These employees usually get up to 20 something percent off their third and fourth lines. This really adds up if there are texting or internet packages on those phones! The following is what consumers are seeing printed on their bills.
“Discount Policy Change Notice
Effective 8/27/10, discounts will no longer apply to the monthly recurring charge for Add-a-Phone lines beyond the first two lines on family or share plans. The primary and second lines will continue to receive discounts.”
Shame on Sprint!
